Daphne cruises have been operating in the Galapagos Islands for more than 25 years. We use a local crew who know the surroundings and give excellent service onboard our luxurious 70ft. yacht Daphne. It provides comfortable space for 16 passengers and was recently upgraded with a spacious sun deck, on top of the 8 cabins and a deluxe suite.

Beagle

The Beagle is named after HMS Beagle, in which Charles Darwin made his famous voyage that took him to the Galapagos Islands, and later, based on his findings in this extraordinary rhipelago, he wrote his theory on evolution. A magnificent 105-foot twin screw steel-hulled brigantine with teak decks and beautifully designed interiors, The Beagle is in a class by itself among sailing yachts in the Galapagos. She was built by Cubow Ltd. In Woolwich, England, in the 1970s. She has been a charter vessel in the Islands for over a decade.

Eclipse

The Eclipse is the perfect base for any Galapagos experience.  She is unique in offering the generous accommodation of a larger vessel, while preserving the atmosphere and exclusivity of a smaller yacht. The Eclipse is a 210 ft expedition vessel that accommodates up to 48 passengers in 27 cabins, all with sea views.  There is a well-equipped lounge for the nightly briefings on the day’s discoveries and the following day’s activities.  In addition to the indoor dining room, there is an al fresco dining area located around the pool, where you can enjoy the islands’ spectacular scenery.  There is also a well-stocked library for quiet study and reading. One of the favorite areas on board the Eclipse is the observation/sun deck, ideal for stargazing.

 

Monserrat

Recently refurbished in 2007, the Monserrat is named for its elegant accommodation, excellent cuisine and for the great space of its social areas.  The yacht is designed to provide a comfortable experience to its passengers while navigating through out the Galapagos islands. The 44 cabin M/V Santa Cruz, built exclusively for Galapagos Islands cruising was completely renovated in 1998, having been redesigned and refurbished inside and out. The Santa Cruz has gained worldwide recognition for its excellent standards, including superb service, expert crew, the most knowledgeable multilingual naturalist/guides and menus that feature the very best international cuisine and celebrated Ecuadorian dishes. Its capacity is for ninety guests.

This is a beautifully decorated motor/sailer recently built in 2002 to meet all security standards, according to international marine safety regulations. Cachalote I accommodates 16 passengers in her 7 cabins: upper/lower berths and one matrimonial cabin all with private baths with hot/cold water showers. There is plenty of deck space on 3 different wooden decks with seats and cushions to relax in the shade or sunbathe during the cruise.

Hacienda Manteles

Located 20 km from Baños, awaits your visit, offering you a homely and welcoming atmosphere in one of the most beautiful Haciendas in Ecuador. Along with the gardens surrounding the main house, the hacienda encompasses a 200 hectare area of protected cloud forest, through which one can reach the entrance to the Llanganates National Park. Las Cascadas Jungle Lodge

Las Cascadas Jungle Lodge is a 300 hectares forest area located at the beginning of the compact rainforest of Ecuador, which changes gradually into the Amazon Basin.
